Buying a telehandler in the United States
Most telehandlers sold in the USA come through a dealer network, which means a margin, a territory, and whatever is on the lot. Maverick sells direct from the factory in Cleburne, Texas — you specify the machine, the attachments and the tyres, and it is built and shipped to you.
What Maverick is good at. The company was founded in 2017 building telehandlers for underground mining, and that is still where the range is strongest: low-profile machines, sealed systems, uprated cooling, and attachments — mine truck tyre handlers, ground support platforms — that general-purpose manufacturers do not carry. If your work is underground or heavy, this is a serious option.
What to compare it against. If you want a compact 3-tonne agricultural machine with a dealer on every county road, JCB, Manitou and Merlo have decades of dealer density that Maverick does not. Be honest about which problem you have. If it's a routine farm telehandler, network coverage may matter more than specification. If it's a 16-tonne lift, a 360° rotating machine at 34.7 m, or a mine-spec unit, the field narrows fast — and Maverick belongs in it.

Common questions from US buyers
Where can I buy a new telehandler in the USA?
Direct from Maverick Material Handling in Cleburne, Texas — the factory sells and ships across the United States, and there is no dealer margin in between. 18 models are available, from a 2,500 kg agricultural machine to a 16,000 kg heavy lifter. Email sales@maverick-americas.com or call +1 903.546.9642 for pricing and lead time.
How much does a new telehandler cost in the USA?
It depends almost entirely on capacity and boom type. A compact agricultural telehandler is a fraction of the cost of a 360° rotating machine or a 16-tonne heavy lifter, and attachments, tyres and emissions specification move the number further. Maverick quotes per configuration rather than publishing a list price — send the application and you'll get a real figure, not a range.
What is the lead time on a Maverick telehandler in the United States?
It varies by model and configuration. Stock machines ship quickly from Texas; a build to a specific attachment and tyre package takes longer. Ask for a current lead time when you request pricing — it changes, and there is no point publishing a number that will be wrong next month.
